9/27/2017 I was involved in a two car accident at the corner of Sunbury RD and Dempsey RD at approximately 7:30 AM. The police officer was Gary E. Allen. On-Star called the police and squad. They arrived immediately. Officer Allen was polite, courteous, and truly concerned for my health. I was somewhat disoriented and shaking. His manner was reassuring. Thank you Officer Allen. There was another officer. I did not get his name. He was also polite and courteous.
I would like to give a shout out to Officer Brian for stopping traffic on Route 3 and allow me to reverse out of the hospital parking lot because I was in a 26 ft box truck without any view to reverse out in heavy traffic and I was not going to make an unsafe decision about it and Dispatch understood and dispatched Officer Brian to my location so I would like to thank Dispatch as well for the effort on this! No one was stopping to let me out which is a shame to the public.
Always incredibly quick to respond and arrive to anything. I have called about missing animals in the area or dogs running around in the area and they will actually come and help look. They’re great!
I love them. Even though they gave me a ticket for driving like a jerk. Sorry about that. FIVE STARS!!
I'm sure there are a few good and decent officers that uphold their duty and deserve the honor and respect that they all think they should have. Some or sadly a lot are not doing their job but instead can often be found harassing our children in this community (the bad and the good). If your child does make a mistake, they will do everything to ruin and destroy your child instead of letting them learn from the consequences and getting a chance to make better choices. Please remember the badge does not automatically get you honor and respect! You need to earn it and deserve it with your actions and commitment to ALL people in this community!
