I'm posting this just after a visit. I just went in to the Westerville location, looking to possibly hold and get some information on the reptiles they had there.
For the small size of the store excellent selection of dog food. Had it when pet co across the street did not. Manager and a least one of the ladies there were really friendly. I left my card there the first time and seemed genuinely happy to get it back to me when I came back. Then one star knock is because of the size they did not have the shampoo I use probably due to shelf space. A different employee tried to help me today and wasn't sure if the shampoo shelves in front of the dog washing area was all that had which makes we wonder on how knowledgeable some of the staff is, but that could have been a fluke. 4.5 stars maybe instead of 4.
Thats why I am writing this review. Since Jack's pets has turned into pet valu, they have lost a lot of their animal space. I have no doubt that countless of other people have cone in, asking about the same thing and getting the same answer (not just here but at other locations). As some one who works in the customer service business and has for many years, I suggest that you, Caitlin, and other employees who have gotten these questions, to do your research so that you can have better interactions with your customers.
Since I was out of luck, I asked her if she could recommend ant reptile pet shops in the area. She simply said no.
Fantastic people, fantastic service. Really help educate people and strive to educate themselves more. The store has definitely gone uphill from a year ago. Management changed and animal quality and care improved!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this store.
Caitlin, I think, greeted me. When I asked her about savanna monitors she said they didn't carry them and hadn't seen any there in her year of working there. I had visited earlier in the year (February or march) and they had monitors. I asked about tarantulas, same answer. I buy my dog food from this place all the time and I have frequently seen trantulas in stock.
I went in to get an application and the lady that helped me was very nice,helpoverland positive.
Great service and always professional. Anytime I have questions, the employees are always courteous and helpful. One of the employees called another store to price match my flea and tick applicators, which was something I was not expecting. Prices are a little higher than others but you get the quality in what you buy.
