Let me start with the staff. They want nothing to do with you and they don't like to answer questions.
Don't buy from these peopel!!!!!
I had a poblem with the way i was approached. I talked with the owner and he made everything right and is going to talk with his employee's. If it's possible with any problems i personally suggest going in and talking with them.
They are so lazy and if your looking for anything particular they tell you, "Look on our ONLINE store at the website. You can ordor anything we have from there and ship it to you."
If I'm going to spend $5000 or more on gold and silver or coins in general in a year, I'd drive up to Michigan and buy with no sales tax and receive better customer service.
dropped off a sterling silver necklace and a 14K gold ring that needed a stone reset. I was given a little tag off the envelope with an "estimate" of what I might be charged. When I went to pick them up today, the girl didn't go over the charges, just went ahead and totaled up my charges and asked me for the money. One of the charges was for a potential gold prong on my ring that might need to be fixed. Before I paid, I asked if the gold prong was needed and she said she didn't know. Then she continued to ask me for the money, including the charge for the gold prong that she didn't know if it was done or not. I made her go check and she came back and said it DIDN"T have to be done. I asked her why she would still want the money for something they didn't do? She said nothing (or I don't know) I said that's not good. She didn't apologize, just proceeded to take my payment. When I was done, she didn't even say thank you. I called the store later and tt Doug who said he was very sorry it happened and that she's new and that they're working with her on things. Problem is, she did my whole transaction by herself, with no one next to her training her or teaching her. How many other customers are getting ripped off due to similar problems? Yes, he's sorry. Yes, things happen. Yes, life is hard. When you try to take my money for something you didn't do and the store doesn't see that as something they need to stand next the new person and literally watch her, I guess Im pretty mad that I almost lost some money and when I asked for the owner, I got attitude,,,,when I told her Im a customer, she softened A LITTLE...This is supposed to be a long time local business serving the community. I will NEVER go back. She can't be trusted and they can't watch over her. STAY AWAY
The owner and his staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It’s a large sophisticated business with a personal touch. The business has had many decades of excellent customer service.
UPDATE. Still the same, if I could give a half star I would.
If your a coin Collector this is the place for you. A little bit of everything. If you haven't visited many coin stores don't look for a lot of attention. But if you ask a question be ready for a half hour conversation. It can be a good place to find what you need or learn a bit about the hobby.
They are overpriced on there Silver and Gold and the fact that you pay sales taxe on silver, gold and coins in Ohio is a deal braker for me.
My experience was horrible!
